How to Fix “Access is Denied” error message in windows xp [with Video]

I am using Microsoft Windows XP, nowadays. I use PASSWORD in my user account. But few days back I had to re-install my windows xp. Everything was fine. But I could not open few folders. When I double click those folders it shows me messages like : Folder is not accessible, Access is Denied, You don’t have the admin privileges for this folder etc.

Why it happened?

After a while, I figured it out. Only those folders weren’t opening which I made in my previous windows with a password in user account. I was worried because I did lock my important documents in some folders.

How to recover those folders?

The simple solution is provided by Microsoft’s website in the following link:

Along with this solution I am sharing a video which explains step by step how to recover these folders showing “Access is Denied” error message.
I thought it’d helpful for you.
